At St. Lawrence we are lucky to have a great physical education and after school sports program. We have two great, highly motivated coaches, Marc Maye and Nancy Blake. Our sports teams are very successful. This year our football team won the CYO South Region Gateway Conference. Our girl’s volleyball team made it to the playoffs and took first place at the 3rd Annual Inner-City Volleyball Invitational. We are extremely proud of the hard work ethic shown by the students and coaches alike.
Our sports teams were very successful this year and several teams even made it to the play-offs. The teams we had this year were football, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. While being on these teams is very fun, our school has a strict criterion that determines whether or not you are able to participate. To be on a team you need to have good grades and good behavior.
Catholic Youth Organization
St. Lawrence of Brindisi participates in the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) sports program and competes against other schools in our region.
Our boys are the 2010-2011 undefeated flag football champs!
